This was my review written in 2014:

“I was at the CD  launch last night of "Beauty in the Hidious" by Larry Bartley and Just Us at The Crypt Camberwell. They will be playing just for you on 28th March in Birmingham at the Red Lion. When you see and hear them it is difficult to believe they are just human beings. Over the last fifty years I have listened to some awesome music and last night was up there. They are so special - DONT MISS THEM YOU WILL REGRET IT. The mix of Larry's complex rhythms, melodies and counter melodies played full on ensemble style was truly beautiful to hear... One of the gigs of the century.”___ Phil Rose, Birmingham Jazz,
