The Ray Butcher Quintet

Renowned jazz trumpeter has clocked up many achievements both as band leader and recording and performing

with many great artists such as B.B.King, Robert Plant, King Pleasure, and Martin Smith. Ray's talent has seen him

become a regular at many London venues including Ronnie Scott's Club. So tonight we're delighted to welcome him back to JABW with his quintet performing their "Butchers Brew" set a title in homage to one of Ray's primary influences the late, great, Miles Davis. The line up tonight consists of:

Ray Butcher -Trpt & F/horn, Tim Amman - K/bds, Sam Rogers - saxes, Mike Green - bass & James Bashford - drums.
